Essential Functions

Operate company-owned tractor-trailer truck to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup, load, and unload; relocation of raw materials and finished products (i.e., Water trucks, Dump bodies, Flatbeds, Service Bodies).
Perform required before-, during- and after- operation "user maintenance" and provide required reports.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Maintain all required certifications required.
Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall taem operations.
Properly track and document activity log.
Tarp all loads Steel, Wood, Aluminum Mandatory.
Use Company Cell Phone provided for Company work while working Mandatory.
Report any issues or incidents to the Manager.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office, or moderately loud when in the field.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasinally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk. Employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Travel is primarily overnight and/or early morning.

Required Education and Experience 1. Valid Class A License 2. Must be insurable with a clean driving record. 3. Experience driving a tractor-trailer with beaver trailer, knowledge of commercial driving regulations required to transport and deliver products. 4. Experience in transporting trucks on 53' Step Deck Trailer or Car-Hauling Trailer. 5. Knowledge of loading and securing freight on a flatbed trailer. 6. Tarping Required. 7. Compliance with FMCSA ELD Regulations. 8. Minimum 2 years driving a 13-speed truck.
Preferred Experience1. Driving in snowing conditions.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must pass Scelzi's DOT pre-employment drug test.
