Tech Support Specialist - Helpdesk Description
Salary $22-$26 per hour
The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for working with IT Manager to develop, implement and support the Scelzi Information System, and will assist with other technical requests as needed.
Essential Functions

Respond to requests to the Help Desk and complete service requests.
Troubleshoot and resolve both hardware and software related PC and network issues.
Escalate issues as needed to other members of support team.
Experience with Conference Room support.
Coordinate with IT Services vendors for outages, upgrades.
Experience with supporting Windows & Mac environment
Experience troubleshooting HP printer issues
Experience troubleshooting Apple iPhone and iPad issues.

Work Environment
This job operates primarily in a professional office environment and will sometimes require working with members of the production team on the production floor. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, you will have to walk the production facilities and may be called to assist with technical issues such as installing or replacing computer hardware, printers tablets, etc. This would require the ability to lift computers and printers and bend, stoop, kneel, and stand or walk as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Firday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Travel
10% of travel to other Scelzi facilities may be required upon company's discretion.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
CompTIA A+ Certification or similar certifications Preferred
Three plus years of IT support experience or in a related area
Experience working with MS Office 365, QuickBooks
Web conferencing software and hardware is preferred
Basic Understanding of Network issues and VolP Telephony
Valid Driver's License
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must pass pre-placement Drug Test and physical.
