Human Resources Specialist - Recruiter
Salary $20-$26 per hour
Scelzi is seeking a proactive and dynamic Human Resources Recruiter with hands-on experience to manage and execute recruitment strategies for a variety of roles within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with hiring managers and candidates. The HR Recruiter will be a key contributor to building a strong talent pipeline and fostering a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Essential Functions

Full-Cycle Recruiting:
Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to offer acceptance, for a variety of positions across departments.
Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach.
Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screenings, and schedule interviews.
Collaborate with hiring managers to undesrand job requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and team culture.
Coordinate and conduct interviews, including assessing candidate skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
Provide timely feedback to candidates and facilitate the hiring decision process.
Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Management:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build a diverse talent pool.
Utilize recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed) to engage with passive and active candidates.
Maintain and track candidate data, including sourcing channels, interview notes, and recruitment progress.
Onboarding & New Hire Experience:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build a diverse talent pool.
Utilize recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media platforms (e.g, LinkedIn, Indeed) to engage with passive and active candidates.
Maintain and track candidate data, including sourcing channels, interview notes, and recruitment progress.
Employer Branding & Relationship Building:
Work closely with HR and marketing teams to promote the company's employer brand and culture through job postings, career fairs, and social media.
Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand team needs and provide consultation on recruitment strategies and trends.
Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies during the recruitment process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all candidates, ensuring all documentation is complete.
Audit employee files, I-9 records, and EEO's.
Competencies/Qualifications
Self-motivated and driven to meet requirement targets and deadlines.
Knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations.
Ability to work independently with little supervision required.
Ability to remain calm while working under pressure in a busy environment.
Ability to work within timeframe of standard policies and procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information.
Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment.
Proficient in using MS Office Suite, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other social media platforms for candidate sourcing.
Able to type at least 45 words per minute.
Exhibit extraordinary discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our team.
1+ years high volume recruitment.
Must be bilingual - English and Spanish.
Work Environment
This job operates in an office setting environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week. The days are Monday through Friday; hours may vary from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. May require work to be conducted on some Saturdays and overtime.
Required Education and Experience
At least 2 years' experience in Human Resources.
At least 1 year in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Obtain a valid driver license and must be insurable
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and physical
