Salary $20.08- $29.00 per hour

Scelzi Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Truck Equipment Installer / Mounter to install and customize commercial trucks. This is a hands-on skilled trade position working with truck bodies, welding, fabrication, hydraulics, PTO systems, 12V electrical systems, liftgates, cranes, and truck accessories.

Install service bodies, flatbeds, dump bodies, and other truck equipment.
Install liftgates, cranes, hitches, ladder racks, compressors, hose reels, and other accessories.
Perform welding for truck body and equipment installations.
Install hydraulic systems, PTO-driven equipment, and engine-operated components.
Read measurements, shop drawings, and installation instructions.
Use grinders, welders, drills, saws, and other shop tools.
Inspect and test completed installations for proper fit.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Transferable experience is welcome! Candidates with backgrounds as welders, fabricators, automotive technicians, diesel technicians, fleet mechanics, trailer technicians, heavy equipment technicians, or equipment installers are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Ability to read and understand measurements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to safely lift and handle up to 50 pounds.
Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety..
Work Environment
This job operates in a shop production environment. Includes exposure to sounds and noise level that are distracting or uncomfortable. Requires working in a very hot (above 90 degrees F) or very cold (below 32 degrees F) temperatures. Requires working indoors in non-controlled environmental conditions. Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people. Requires exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites or stings. Requires exposure to hazardous equipment.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 50lbs periodically. Requires walking, standing, squatting, bending, climbing kneeling, crawling, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, repetitive movement, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.
Pre-Employment Requirements Employment is contingent upon successfully completing applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a drug screening, physical/agility assessment, and welding skills test.
