Counter Parts Sales Associate
Hourly $20.50 to $27
The Counter Parts Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling parts and accessory sales, managing inventory, and maintaining the organization of the parts counter. This position requires knowledge of parts, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions

Assist customers in selecting parts and accessories for vehicles.
Answer customer inquiries, provide accurate information about parts, and resolve any concerns.
Process sales transactions, handle returns, and address customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor inventory levels and restock parts as necessary.
Ensure proper organization and labeling of parts and accessories in the store.
Work with the warehouse team to track stock and update inventory records.
Promote and upsell related parts, accessories, and services to customers.
Maintain knowledge of current promotions and discounts.
Assist in merchandising and display of products to attract customers.
Provide guidance on part compatibility, specifications, and usage.
Stay updated on product knowledge and trends in the industry.
Work with vendors to ensure parts availability and order necessary items.
Process orders, handle invoices, and maintain accurate sales records.
Assist with managing returns and exchanges or parts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and showroom.
Ensure that all parts are stored and handled safely according to company policies.
Follow health and safety guidelines within the store and warehouse policies.
Competencies/Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3 Years of previous experience in parts sales or customer service.
Basic knowledge of vehicle, machinery, or equipment parts is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with inventory management.
Knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, MS Office.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
This job operates in a parts store / warehouse environment.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 50lbs periodically
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience High School Diploma and 3 Years Customer Service experience.
