All Purpose Position

Salary $17-$20.50 per hour

Scelzi Enterprises, Inc. is seeking general labors to help in various departments. Duties may vary depending by department but are not limited to stacking, cleaning, prepping, moving materials, inventory assistance, shop support, detailing, grinding and inspecting. Applicant must be able to lift up to 50lbs., communicate well with others, work independently or as a team with little to no supervision in a fast-paced environment.

• Mechanically inclined.
• Proficient in reading a tape measure.
• Maintaining the work areas inventory.
• Must be able to learn quickly and efficiently.
• Must be able to read and understand work orders.

• Maintain work area clean and free of hazards.
• Washbay will detail, wash, scale, inspect and move trucks around the yard.
• Washbay will also store keys and mark keys with tags as well as park completed units in assigend areas for will call/transportation.

Competencies

• Basic knowledge of math i.e. addition, subtraction.
• Must be able to use required safety equipment, i.e. respirator mask, safety glasses, back brace.
• Must pay attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize the department's needs.

Work Environment
This job operates in a shop production environment. Exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable. Requires working in very hot (above 90F degrees) or very cold (below 32F degrees) temperatures. Requires working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions. Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment. Requires working indoors in non-controlled environmental conditions and/or working outdoors exposed to all weather conditions.

Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 50lbs periodically. Requires bending, twisting, walking, repetitive movement, standing, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls. Requires exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings. Requires exposure to hazardous equipment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. Occasional Saturdays and overtime can be required. If overtime and/or Saturdays are requested, it will be mandatory.

Required Education and Experience
6 months of industrial, construction, or general labor experience.
Basic knowledge in hand power tools.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must pass basic math test including reading a measuring tape.
Must pass pre-employment drug test, and physical.
