Accounts Payable

Salary $21 per hour

General Office Clerk - The job requires 1 to 3 years of experience of accounts payable along with general accounting procedures, knowledge of relevant computer applications, and proficient in data entry. Responsibilities will be collections, vendor file maintenance, correspond with vendors, respond to inquiries, and produce monthly reports. Knowledge of QuickBooks is necessary. Candidate must have good communication skills, organized, knows how to prioritize, pays attention to detail, problem solving and maintain a certain level of confidentiality.

• Data Entry; QuickBooks. Proofreads, making appropriate changes, responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
• Fax, email customers/dealerships/vendors.
• Establishes, develops, and maintains filing system for all files.
• Retrieve missing information as needed.
• Internet Sales
• Assist with phone calls when needed; i.e. cover for breaks and lunch for front desk.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Required Education and Experience
High School diploma
One to three years of accounting clerk experience.
